The Seven Seals

Please note: this project is no longer under active development. While it may receive updates from time-to-time, I have not consistently developed this game for several years. It has been uploaded here due to server issues with the original host (RMN).

Create a party from 22 different classes and 4 distinct heroes to defeat the Demon King in this retro-inspired RPG that draws from Dragon Quest 4, Final Fantasy 6, and the Legend of Heroes series. The incomplete game takes you through 2.5 chapters with an estimated playtime over 12 hours. The full game, should it ever be released, would see a playtime of 48 hours.

There are two downloads available. If you lack the RPG Maker VX ACE runtime package, please download the file labeled RTP Seven Seals v2.9. If you have the runtime package installed, please download the other file instead.

The seals on the Demon King's prison are weakening. When a holy woman on pilgrimage goes missing in the country of Erren, the former royal knight Marcia must assemble a party and search for her. If the priestess is not found in time, she will be unable to complete the ritual to reseal this ancient evil.

At the same time, in the snowy country of Finlon, the notorious bandit Errol is released from prison under one condition: he must find the kidnapped princess. Accompanied by an eccentric band of allies, he must navigate a hostile country and the schemes of his former second-in-command to bring her home before its too late.

Meanwhile, the island nation of Penaria falls under the threat of a plague. Novice healer Rhuan has never cared for anyone beyond his small village. He is thrust into the spotlight as disease and court intrigue combine. Can he cure the people before the mysterious sickness wipes out everything he holds dear? This chapter is not yet complete, but can be accessed.

And in the southern nation of Ossion, the young Solmancer Nia approaches the trial that will see her graduate from her apprenticeship. Faced with harrowing tests, can she persevere? A shadow is rising over the desert sands. If she fails to achieve her full power, all will be lost. This chapter is inaccessible and lacks any content.
